Meet Arabella

Hello. How can I help you today?

Do you need a press release that actually gets picked up? A report that people will want to read? Powerful stories, photography or video to bring your project to life? Content for social media that sounds human rather than corporate? An event that gets the right people in the room — and the right people talking about it afterwards?

Or perhaps you simply know you need to be more visible, more relevant and more heard, but you’re not quite sure where to start.

That’s where I come in.

Think of me as your communications Swiss Army knife: a strategist, writer, storyteller, connector and problem-solver rolled into one. I bring the experience, creativity and networks to find the right people and resources for almost any communications, visibility or advocacy challenge.

With deep experience and an extensive network across Asia and Africa, I know how to navigate the realities of communicating from, with and for the Global South — not as an afterthought, but as the starting point.

Whether you need a single piece of content, a complete communications strategy, a campaign, an event, a media push or a trusted team of specialists brought together around your project, I can help you figure out what you need — and make it happen.

Tell me what you’re trying to achieve. I’ll help you find a way to get there.

My Story

I come from the beautiful island of Mauritius, a small place with a big sense of the world.

My own journey has taken me far beyond its shores — to Ireland and the UK for my studies, to Chile, and eventually to India, which has been home since 2014. Along the way, I studied languages and communications, and earned my Master’s degree in the UK.

I speak four languages — English, French, Spanish and Mauritian Creole — and enough Hindi to get myself into (and occasionally out of) trouble.

I’ve spent much of my career working across cultures, countries and continents, learning that good communication is about much more than finding the right words. It’s about understanding people, context, power, nuance and what makes a story resonate.

Today, I work at the intersection of communications, visibility and advocacy, with a particular focus on the Global South. My international experience, curiosity and wonderfully eclectic network allow me to connect dots, bring people together and find solutions that might not be obvious at first glance.

Outside work, I’m a mother to one human and two doggos — all three of whom keep me grounded, entertained and occasionally wondering who is actually in charge.

I’ve lived in different parts of the world, but I remain deeply connected to where I come from. I believe the Global South has extraordinary stories to tell, ideas to share and voices that deserve to be heard — and I’m passionate about helping those stories travel further.
